Rex's First Blog Entry

I am not sure if yall have noticed but i have been conspicously absent from the blogasphere since the inception of the rexandjennifer blog. the truth is that i am simply not fascinating enough to garner an entry. and i should not be allowed to blog because ofmy atrocious spelling and my refusal to use proper capitalization and punctuation. be that as it may here i am on my lunch hour typing because i most often check this site to see what jen is thinking and what yall think about what she is thinking. i love my wife dearly and she is such a blessing to me. and we communicate pretty well most of the time. but that is beside the point. i would like to take this opportunity to recap the major events of the past six months.

  1. Single living in Austin with roommates.
  2. GOT ENGAGED TO JEN!!!!!!!
  3. I moved to Tomball.
  4. Marriage: most of yall were there
  5. Honeymoon: Cancoon is paved in concrete except for a 20 foot strip of sand between the resort wall and the ocean.
  6. Me working in Conroe while living in Tomball.
  7. Jen did a wonderful job painting the kitchen.
  8. I did not help, shame on me.
  9. Conception of our future child!! pretty nice.
  10. Random pregnancy test showing positive results. Yikes.
  11. Deciding we want to move to Austin.
  12. Placing an offer on a House in Austin.
  13. Not having a job in Austin.
  14. Talking to old Austin job.
  15. Not getting offerred a job there.
  16. talking to Conroe job about transferring to austin office.
  17. Transferring to Austin office.
  18. Closing on house.
  19. Sinking in that we are having a baby.
  20. Moving into house.
  21. My lovely wife being drained of all energy by the life sucking fetus in her womb.
  22. Selling boat. relief...and sad.
  23. Ripping out ridiculous wall in house.
  24. Working in Austin.
  25. Living in Austin. And feeling like we are our own.

Lots has happenned. Pretty awesome stuff.
