Our evening walk

I love our family walks in the evening. We've done it a few times now that is has cooled off a bit. It is so amazing to just walk and talk, all three together, with Mia pointing things out to Rex that she and I have found on our walks in the mornings. She almost always brings a baby along with us, either a beanie baby, toilet paper holder, paint roller or some other "baby" of the day. Recently it has been a real baby more often... her name is baby Mia since she is pink and bald and looks exactly like big Mia did about a year ago-

I just love these holding Rex's hands pictures!

with baby Mia tucked safely under arm.. This 2 1/2 year old remembers everything. She knows which way we need to walk to get back home once we have gone around the block, and also knows which way to go to get ice cream. Grandpa took her a few weeks ago and they got chocolate ice cream at the corner store for the walk back, and she tells me all of the time that if we would "go down that isle" we could get some more. The purple ice cream she is referring to in this video is actually a sno cone- we have a stand a couple of blocks away and of course she knows just how to get there.

How nice to have some people that makes money for you guys to buy purple ice cream! I love how she pulls the "Togetherness" card to try to get you to go. 'Let's go get purple ice cream together." Hee,hee. So adorable. Love you guys, JEn
